NI Letter X - exclude from App Levy

For employees on national insurance category ‘X’, a checkbox has been added to the employees’ tax & NI details section. When this is selected, the employee’s earnings will be excluded from the Apprentice Levy calculations. You will also be able to select this checkbox during the employee new starter wizard, and will exclude the employee’s future earnings.
