Payroll Platform Improvements

We’re introducing several improvements to the Employment Hero Payroll platform on Monday, 12 October, to help you manage employee data, simplify tax filing and gain better visibility into key payroll processes.

Here’s what’s changing:

Pension Enrolment on Import
Set pension enrolment statuses directly during employee imports, making it easier to bulk upload employees with manually assessed pension statuses.

Restricted User Permissions
Restricted users can now be granted permission to manually add new employees, giving you more flexibility when managing user access.

NIL EPS Filing
Tax years with no pay runs will now appear in the EPS tab, making it easier to submit NIL EPS filings for previous tax years.

Employment Allowance Status
The P32 report will now display your Employment Allowance status, helping you quickly check whether the allowance has been reported to HMRC on the EPS for the relevant tax year.

Enhanced Audit Logs
EPS submissions will now appear in the audit tab alongside FPS submissions, giving you a clearer view of your submission history.
