Casual Conversion Changes

As part of the Fair Work Act ‘Closing Loopholes’ law,  effective from the 26th of August 2024, a new ‘employee choice’ pathway has been created for casual employees in which, if eligible, they can request their intention of change to permanent employment.

Our existing Casual Conversion report has been updated to reflect these changes, making the eligibility period 6 months from the employee's start date. Additional functionality has been added to include a Location filter and column within the report, as well as the option to add the Casual Conversion report to report packs.
