All new Singapore businesses created will now support automated contributions to self-help groups (SHGs) when a pay run is created.
The SHG deductions will be automated based on the employee’s legal status, ethnicity and religion within an employee’s statutory details.
The ethnicity and religion fields have been enhanced to be selectable, reflecting the widely recognised groups in Singapore.
