Ability to support Employee CPF voluntary contributions

Product
Singapore

We are pleased to introduce an enhancement that facilitates the processing and reporting of employee CPF voluntary contributions. This new functionality enables administrators to incorporate these contributions into pay runs and report them via the CPF lodgement report.

To navigate to the new feature follow these steps:

  1. Ensure your business has been set up with a CPF submission number (CSN)  in business settings > Statutory Reporting Settings
N.B You will need to utilise a CSN number with “VCT” to download the CPF upload file for voluntary contributions.
  2. Head to an unfinalised pay run
  3. Click on the employee who needs voluntary employee CPF contributions
  4. Under CPF adjustments, you can click on Voluntary Employee CPF and enter in the CPF voluntary contribution.

Upon doing so, after saving above and finalising the pay run, the net payable to the employee will reflect this and the contribution amounts will be reported within the CPF lodgement file.

These reports will have been updated to reflect this new enhancement:

  • CPF Lodgement Report
  • CPF Ordinary and Additional Wages Reconciliation Report
  • Gross to Net Report
  • Pay Run Audit Report
  • Detailed Activity Report
  • Payslip Report
  • Costing Report
  • Pay Run Comparison Report

Report Packs: All existing report packs will seamlessly integrate the new changes, ensuring all impacted reports function as usual with the updated data.

As part of our commitment to the Singapore region, we're revising our IRAS reporting as our annual activity.  Notably, IR8S will likely be removed as that is no longer required for IRAS filing. Hence, Voluntary Employee CPF contributions may not be reflected in the new IRAS reports. Do keep a look out for our product updates in Q4 2025.
