SuperStream Standard SAFF Export Available Now

Product
Australia

Payroll administrators can now export super contributions directly from the Super Contributions Report as a SuperStream Alternate File Format (SAFF) v3.0 CSV file, ready to upload straight to a clearing house.

Previously, there was no SAFF-compliant export available on the platform. Admins who needed to lodge contributions via a clearing house had to download contribution data and manually reformat it to meet the ATO's SuperStream v3.0 specification, a time-consuming and error-prone process, particularly as Payday Super increases the frequency of lodgements.

The new SuperStream Standard SAFF export adds a dedicated option to the export menu on the Super Contributions Report. The downloaded file follows the ATO SuperStream SAFF v3.0 specification and splits each employee's contributions by type (Superannuation Guarantee, Salary Sacrifice, and Member Voluntary) and by superannuation fund, with a separate row per employee per fund, so it can be uploaded to a clearing house without any manual reformatting.
