Sender Name Registration

Following on from the previous update regarding New Registration Requirements for SMS Sender Names, the ability to register custom sender ID is now available.

For brands currently using a custom Sender ID, please take one of the following actions:

Option 1: Switch to an Employment Hero Sender ID

You can transition to one of our pre-verified, generic Sender IDs immediately.

-How to update: Please update the “SMS notification sender name” field for your brand(s) via the Partner Dashboard.

-Available Generic Names:

• YourPayroll
• EHPayroll
• Payroll
• payroll
• PAYROLL

Option 2: Re-register your Custom Sender ID(s)

To keep your unique brand name, you must complete the new verification process that is available within the Partner Dashboard

-The Process: This involves submitting documentation and Government ID for an authorised person at your company. 

-Timeline: The review process can take up to 2 weeks so submitting registration as early as possible is recommended in order for it to be approved before the 1 July deadline.

What happens if no action is taken?

If no action is taken, your Sender ID will be automatically updated to use the sender name PAYROLL.
