This is a reminder thatstartingFebruary 9, 2026, Employment Hero will discontinue support for email as a method to receive Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) codes on our payroll web product (for all Partner brands).
From 24 February, we are introducing a streamlined login experience on Payroll Web to ensure faster, more intuitive access. This update features tailored sign-in options and enhanced account switching to help you jump back into work with ease
We’ve launched new API endpoints that allow for the full management of pay condition rule sets, including the ability to create, update, and delete sets per business. The new cloning functionality further streamlines your workflow by instantly copying entire rule sets and their associated rules, removing the need for manual, one-by-one setup.
To enhance security, Employment Hero is discontinuing email-based 2FA on February 9, 2026, requiring partners to transition users to more secure methods like authentication apps, SMS, or passkeys while establishing internal workflows for managing account recovery requests.
