A new webhook event is now available. This event triggers upon the completion of a pay rate template reapplication to linked employees, specifically after any necessary updates to the employee pay rates have been made. For Australian users, take note this also applies to reapplying Award pay rate templates to linked employees during an award install update.
This new webhook marks the first step in an ongoing project aimed at boosting the performance of reapplying pay rate templates, especially in cases involving hundreds or thousands of linked employees. The second and last phase of this project will be released on March 25, 2026. For Australian users, it's important to note that this specific performance improvement (Phase 2) applies only to the reapplication of non-Award pay rate templates, as enhancements for reapplying Award pay rate templates during an award install update have already been rolled out.
Important information for API Users
If you use the Update Pay Rate Template endpoint and your request body uses "reapplyToLinkedEmployees": true, we strongly suggest you set up the new webhook before the 25 March release.
