Mark an Employing Entity as Inactive

Business Admins can now mark an employing entity as inactive when no active employees are assigned to it. Inactive entities are hidden from payroll screens and employee setup dropdowns by default, but remain accessible via a "Show inactive" toggle. All historical pay reports linked to an inactive entity remain visible in read-only mode, and entities can be reactivated at any time.

This update gives businesses a clean way to retire employing entities, such as wound-down subsidiaries, without permanently deleting them or losing payroll history. It eliminates clutter on payroll setup screens while preserving full data integrity.

No action is required. Businesses with employing entities they wish to retire can begin using this feature immediately.
