We’re updating the Employment Hero Mobile App to ensure that security requirements are consistent across all platforms. This update closes the gap between web and mobile by enforcing mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) settings directly within the app.
Previously, mandatory 2FA requirements set by a business, brand or platform, were only strictly enforced on the web platform. This meant users could potentially bypass the requirement by using the mobile app.
With this release the mobile app now recognises and reflects 2FA mandates. Upon login, users who have not yet enabled 2FA will be required to set it up immediately. Access to app features will be restricted until the 2FA setup is completed, ensuring payroll data remains protected.
