The platform currently breaks down AWE/OWP/ADP/RDP leave rates into hourly rates, though legislation only specifies daily or weekly rates. For employees with irregular hours, converting these rates when leave is taken can be confusing. By stopping calculations at weekly rates for annual holidays and daily rates for all other leave, we can significantly improve the user experience, specifically for irregular hours employees.

When leave is applied in a pay run, it can now be processed using daily or weekly rates, rather than the traditional hourly rate. Businesses have the flexibility to choose whether to retain the current hourly rate calculation for leave or to display annual leave as a weekly rate and FBAPS leave as a daily rate. This preference can be configured by selecting the relevant options in the *Leave Categories* screen. Once enabled, the selected weekly or daily rates will automatically apply to all employees across the business.
