Important update regarding Anzac Day 2026 (ACT & NSW Only)

Following the NSW and ACT governments’ changes to how the Anzac Day public holiday is observed, Employment Hero has updated the public holiday calendars to reflect these updates.

If you don’t have any ACT or NSW-based employees, you can disregard this email.

For employers with ACT or NSW-based employees, we recommend reviewing any existing approved leave requests on 25 and 27 April to ensure entitlements have been calculated correctly. Please:

1. Sign into your payroll platform as an admin.
2. Click the Manage Employees button on the payroll dashboard, then click Manage Requests under the Leave sub-menu.
3. On the Leave Management screen, switch to the Calendar view and navigate to 25 April 2025.
4. Review any approved leave requests for NSW-based and ACT-based employees that occur on 25 and 27 April 2025 to ensure the hours have been calculated correctly.
