EH Work Home Dashboard Consolidation and Payroll User Experience Simplification

Objective

To streamline the EH Work Payroll user experience by surfacing key actions on the Home Dashboard and improving navigation efficiency.

Overview

This release focuses on simplifying the Payroll experience by consolidating key workflows into the Home Dashboard and improving global navigation across the platform.

What’s Changing

1. Key features from the Work Dashboard have been migrated to the Home Dashboard, including:

  • Outstanding Payroll
  • Documents Organisation Switcher

2. Outstanding Payroll Documents are now:

  • Integrated into the To Do List for managers, or
  • Displayed as a Home Dashboard card for employees

This improves visibility and makes required actions easier to complete.

3. The Organisation Switcher is now available in the Global Header, allowing users to switch organisations from anywhere in the app. A neutral icon is used to support all organisation types, including partners.

4. The Work section navigation has been simplified, with tabs reorganised and prioritised based on usage, jobs-to-be-done, and logical grouping.

Outcome

These changes are designed to reduce navigation friction, improve task visibility, and create a more streamlined Payroll experience for both managers and employees.
