We are introducing validations to the Australian payroll employee self service (ESS) endpoint api/v2/ess/{employeeId:int}/bankaccounts on 23 May 2025. This includes the following:
- Account Name is required.
- Account Number should be numeric only.
- BSB is 6 characters only and must be a valid BSB
- Allocate Percentage is required (unless Allocate Balance or Fixed Amount is set), and should be greater than 0 and less than or equal to 100.
- If Fixed Amount is supplied, it must be greater than 0.
